Erma Riddick Copeland was born in Edenton, North Carolina on January 5, 1948. Erma is the second oldest of twelve children and has two grown children, April and Samuel. She has held many jobs such as: teachers assistant, nurses assistant, dental assistant, and banking clerk. Her education includes the Elizabeth City State University and The Institution of Children's Literature. She is currently not working due to numerous disabling health factors. Her invention developed due to the unsanitary conditions of getting splashed while using the toilet at home and in public facilities.
We are pleased to offer for license or sale a clever new way of eliminating toilet splash during urination. The invention features splash reducing panels having a fibrous material containing a germicide that is adapted to expand and become flat when moistened. The purpose of this invention is to prevent toilet water from splashing onto the user during urination and defecation. It is a simple, easy to use splashguard that is highly portable, allowing it to be used almost anywhere including baby changing stations.
