"KITE"

Ever since I was a small child, I have loved kites. I have improved upon the traditional shape and construction of a kite to create a kite that can literally fly further than the eye can see and under all meteorological conditions. It sounds unreal, but it is true. In the developmental stage of this product, I discovered that a piece of bamboo, a coversheet, some nylon, glue, and a little talent can help you create an extremely versatile airborne device.

When air flows through a conical shaped passage, it assists the kite to elevate its height quickly. I am still amazed that an innocent looking item you hold in your hands can fly so high. This kite can fly unsupervised and can be made in all sizes. I have a DVD presentation showing kites in flight (available upon request). The presentation shows the 5 ' 8" kite in comparison to the 1' 6" kite. Furthermore, this kite can also be used as an ornament that is placed in a home or office as a decorative picture (as seen in my photo). On July 4th, I can predict American Flag kites flying high in recognition of what "Old Glory" is all about. I call my invention "Soljakite". My design is extremely economical, costing literally pennies to the dollar.

The invention, called the KITE, features a cover sheet having first and second opposed main surfaces, along with a frame assembly attached to a second main surface to define a body having an overall height and overall width. The primary objective of this invention is to provide a KITE that has suficient lift and stability for superior flight characteristics, even at high altitudes. The design provides additional lift, while minimizing the rolling tendencies or uncontrollability issues in current designs.
