"Breathing Aid Device"

"I am an 87 year old World War II Veteran. The reason for this invention is I wanted a small item that could be worn 24 hours per day, easily inserted into the nostrils, easily removed, cleaned and reinserted. Due to its small size, made of clear plastic or skin tone, it can easily be worn in public. For example, at night while sleeping on one's side, this device would keep the nostril open and free from any pressure from the pillow. It is ideal for people in sports giving the maximum breathing ability."

ADVANTAGES OF THIS INVENTION:
The BREATHING AID DEVICE keeps nasal passages open by clipping into the nasal septum with a pair of curved, spring-action nostril expanding arms. The arms are supported by an open looped base member that includes a hinge to allow the user to customize the fit. The flexibility of the contours in both sets of arms provide comfort to the consumer while they sleep.

SALES POTENTIAL:
The BREATHING AID DEVICE fills a real need for millions of consumers who would like to improve their breathing while asleep. Once introduced, consumer and industry should be enthusiastic and immediate. Marketing will be easy, as it can be sold in discount, department, medical supply stores, and specialty outlets. In addition, it can be attractively offered in trade and industry catalogs, appropriate magazines, on home shopping networks, and over the Internet. It is an exciting, new invention that opens up a new and highly profitable product line with unlimited national and international marketing opportunities.
